Hello forum gentlemen!
English is not my first language, soo don't yell at me for it ;)
I've been playing DDO for around a month now, and tried a lot of character builds, but i am addicted to making alts, so the only character that can get me playing is a character whose awesomeness i am able to feel in every moment of play :D
My top character is a level 11 monk, that i managed to level due to it being a class i enjoy a lot, i like being able to pull some trick and say "****, this character rocks!", so, the invincible feeling you get when playing a high-save monk is very appealing to me, this is an important thing to keep me playing any character!
Now, going straight to the point, i was looking for a character build that met some of the following characteristics:
-Able to dish out pretty numbers (=high)
-Have nice survivability, as i tend to solo a lot, and like to feel self-sufficient
-Have a lot of spells/abilities (Clickies boosts don't count, i have when it feels i am an autoattacking goose)
-Being Dynamic! (Healer is not dynamic :D )
-I'm kinda poor, so, not tome-heavy
I Tried several things :D I was thinking about a Lord of blades FvS/Paladin/Cleric, maybe a ranger, but i'll try anything that looks appealing to me (:
Thanks in advance to all of you.

Possibly FvS 18, rogue 2
Get evasion plus ability to train traps and such, and xtra UMD to go with the FvS cha bonus.
Just an idea.
Add a bit of TWF and while that will not get as high as a pure melee, you can be standing inside a maximized, empowered blade barrier while using it if need be.
IIRC to maximize your skills you would want to take rogue at 1 and somewhere "around" 5.
Def. ask for extra opinions though, just my first thought.

I suggest you try out a Dwarven Ranger...they are highly survivable, not feat heavy, nice dps, alot of fun!

Thanks all for the input!
What would make rangers survivable? Ac bonuses? Granted feats such as diehard? And would this apply to AA builds too?
@Ellyll
Your suggestion looks interesting, but i am not so sure if 2 levels of rogue are really worth it for me, i mean, is evasion really THAT important (My monk has improved evasion :D so i dont know how it is to roll around without it), i have been running with a simialr FvS build, caster-oriented, but with a touch of melee...
Also, my monk is WF, more str-based, halfling sneaking builds doesnt sound appealing at all to me :)

For soloing, the rogue splash not only gives you evasion, but also the ability to get very high disable device if you plan it right. It's the trap aspect that really helps with soloing, imho.
(You might want to search for rogue splash to see how to maximize your skills)
Also, most rogue builds are not "sneaking" based, although that is a nice benefit. Str based rogues are actually more common than dex builds (the exception being halflings), although you would need 15 dex to start if you wanted the full TWF line ahead of you.
Ranger is a benefit, though, if you want to get away with low dex, as TWF feats are granted in that line.

Actually... Come to think of it, if you don't mind playing another WF you might want to think about 18 wiz with repair spell, splashed with another. =)
(Probably not exactly what you are looking for, though.. )

If you're looking for solo-ability, I like WF. As you've already figured-out, the immunities are a boon to solo play (no paralysis, disease, poison), as are the Racial Toughness/CON enhancements.
I would also go with some Wiz levels so that you can self repair and add to your survivability with buffs. Consider up to level 7 of Wiz, which would give you Shield (+4 shield bonus if you invest in TWF), Blur, Displacement, Haste, Repair Critical Damage and Stoneskin. also, if DPS is important, consider 12 levels of Ranger, which will give you the entire TWF line for free (other than OTWF), 3 Favored Enemy choices, Ram's Might, Evasion, Barkskin +5 and Tempest II, along with a few decent ranged feats.
Your last level can be either Monk or Fighter for the extra feat. Monk would allow your Wisdom bonus to AC, if you're willing to invest (although you'd need at least 13 for level 3 Ranger spells). Fighter would give you better enhancements like Haste, AC, Attack and Boosts, as well as Fighter Toughness I for an extra 10 HPs.
Good luck :D
