No True Rez But Got 20% XP Going

It's not like someone at Turbine said "lol, let's give them an XP boost but not let them TR. That'll **** 'em off."

There's a problem with TRing and Lesser Reincarnations that's breaking characters. Until they get it fixed, they don't want people to go skipping off and breaking more of their characters at the opportunity to get 20% more XP.

I'd get the link to the thread, but the one that I previously encountered are giving me the "you don't have permission" error.

Considering the fact that they don't currently have a way to give people lost favor from the casual difficulty problem, don't put faith in the fact that you could play now, break your character, and then they could fix it for you willy-nilly. This really is the better option.

Of course they planed this...the update was on lamania for how long? and before that they had to test some things out before just realeasing them to the public..
I mean its not just one thing or 2 things that are broken....its abundent of things, just this one realy got to me..

Well true it was up on Limannia for a long time but please keep in mind not many people play on that server anymore and people that was never in Beta dont have it unless they download it. I am sure it is just a small bug. I mean if there is not the same mass amount there is on that server compaired to the ones everyone has acces to how are they sopposed to know how much lag itll give and how buggy TR is? Limannia isnot much played pn yes and therefore they cant test EVERYTHING there. I suggest just give them 2 days and if not fixed by then then have a reason to yell at them. Programing does take time and money.

But as a suggestion just go play the games or get vet stats (you should have it if you have reachhed TR state) to make a new char. even f2p have 4 charie spots open. So make a new char and have fun on that one. Explore more classes. Eh. Im just suggesting things is all.

Can't really use "not enough people on Lammania" as an excuse for the cockup that is update 3.

Turbine didn't want to give any incentive to players to test their update. For a small amount of time you could get 500TP from an NPC, then nothing after that.

Character copy is a farce. Lots of people tried to copy a level 20 toon and it failed...and they cannot try again because Turbine, for some odd reason, want to limit how much we can actually test, for them. It makes no sense.

I know I would of tested more, if I could of copied my fighter over once he had his +6cha skills cloak.

The 20% bonus and no TR is still a kick in the nuts, but no comment on the turn around to fix it is even more frustrating.

*sighs* Well anyway there it is bugged with many things. Sure it may have wokred (mabey) On the test server but once again is there even near how many actually play in the main servers. And on top of that TR was bugged to begin with... just after update 3 when they actually tried to fix something TR goes down WITH Gianthold Tor quests and several parts for Vale of Twlight. And yes it is annoying to add the 20% XP bonus on top of all the bugs they havent fixed for 5 years. There is nothing we can do about it besides just sit here and complain. Like I said just make a lvl 4 and go through the quests again or help lower lvls with favor runs. I donno what else to say. I cant fix it. Lol

Couldn't agree more with OP. Regardless where the fault lies, an xp boost once they fixed TR would make a whole lot more sense since that might actually help make up for lost TR ing time for those. Having it concurrent with TR broken is silly.
Lets see a +50% xp boost that lasts for exactly the number of days TR was down once they put it back up.

Mournlands is the test server before content gets to Lammania right?

Maybe that is where issues start, but on Lammania they had a fair few known bugs that made it to live servers.
Or maybe they did have enough info on the bugs...and only want the more hardcore players testing.

Yea I guess I can take my new Elf Kensai/Rogue and level her up past 8, but the XP bonus would of been awesome for a TR.

Even just letting people TR for the weekend, then disabling it afterwards would be nice, so TR's can at least level together. Can always go and collect the end reward to complete the bugged quests later.

My TR is level 3, but my gf was going to TR her toon Thursday night so we could level together. So there goes that idea of fun.

Just because it is not affecting you, doesn't mean anyone else can't complain about feeling slighted and being left in the dark about it.

I felt the same way when I saw the news that the XP boost was going up with TR still down. Was there any reason why they absolutely couldnt put this off until after TR was fixed? And doesnt the fact that they didnt say something about their confidence on when they can get TR fixed?

Its vary simple to get xp first time around, but goin on second TR and looking at the 4 mill plus xp needing for it and seeing the opt'd time to do this is when we get the xp boost...So Not beeing able to take avatage of it realy dose not make me too happy..

I am sorry to say, but if someone has a non-TR toon and feels that they NEED the xp boost in order to level, I would suggest that what they actually need is a great deal more experience playing the game (and probably, therefore, better gear as well) before trying to tackle the higher level content. There is so much more xp available in game then you need to cap out the first time it is silly.
