I cannot trade my recipes now

I know I traded them yesterday.

I am using my cleric for the first time and all my recipes I received went into the green bag and when I take them out and attempt to put them in the trade window,

"Failed trade, the xx winter recipe xx/20 cannot be traded."

I can post them to the auction house.

I can't trade my recipes either. I can however mail those recipes to other people. Is this intended?
