My first toon went up to level 2 he was level 1 cleric and I talked to the rogue trainer, I did not know at the time that that would make him multi class. Yes I am a newbie. He is now level8 clr and level 1 rogue. Is there any way to get rid of the rogue class?

Buy a Lesser Reincarnation +1 Lesser Druidic Heart of Wood from the DDO store. Or farm for it in epic. I would personally wait for you to unlock 32-pt builds and use a +1 Greater Druidic Heart of Wood (when it comes out).

I heard it costs about 1000 TP though.

Lorien you REALLY need to learn how to read peoples posts properly hes currently level 9.
OP:I'm not sure how you "accidentally" MC even if you try to level up with the wrong trainer it warns you AND how the hell did you not notice for 7 lvls.
Anyways my advice is grind out enough AP to get head-start and roll a lvl 4 char (or just buy it...IIRC vet status is around the same cost as resurrection)

Treat it like having a career AND a marriage. People multiclass successfully all the time, but no matter how much of a mistake you think it is, there were always a bunch of warnings before you did it.

well, his statement is still valid even for a lvl 8 char. on top of that its his first char and so its probably gimped anyway. i can remember deleting my first couple of toons (some 3 years back) as i am noone sentimental about first toons.
as he knows a bit of conent now he most likely would build his cleric a bit different anyway...

Somehow I doubt it was an accident. I think someone (finally) realized that 1 level of rogue, taken at level 2, is worthless...

You cant multiclass by accident.
There are 2 destinct and explicit reminders, there are totally different level choices, there is a summary of what you did before you finalise the level up process.
--> leading me to the same conclusion as DDOplayer.

What to do about it?
* Live with it untill you TR. You are still able to perform as a cleric, just with diminished abilities. And once oyu hit 20th level, True Reincarnate into a pure caster. --> Costs you patience.
* Reroll the character. Transfer your equipent and roll up a new version of him, this time staying pure. --> Costs you XP.
* Buy a lesser druidic hearth of wood +1. Use it to reincarnate your character and correct the wrong level choice. --> Costs you TP.

if you are blind and multiclass by accident then you should rather play lottery as getting enough xp and even finding the way to a trainer requires **** much luck :p

It should teach me to be careful when trying to post and feed the baby at the same time :p
I guess the OP and I both did the "read too quickly and then hit enter" thing.

I'd take another level of rogue for Evasion and then just try to make it work. Consider it a learning experience to help your next character.

If he was still level 3, going with the Cleric/Rogue trap skills route wouldnt be so bad. At level 9 .. honestly Id just reroll. If you really didnt know what you were doing (we were all in that boat at some point) you probably did not level effectively. Id find a Cleric build I wanted to play and restart following it as a leveling guide.
Just starting out, level 9 seems like it took an eternity to achieve. Every character after that is going to get there quicker then the last, though.

Another option is run with it. Take a second rogue level and enjoy Evasion.
Edit: Looks like someone beat me to it.

Don't be mean about "accidentally" multiclassing. The accident was not knowing better. :)
You probably do not have the reflexe saves to make evasion worth having. You should not bother with a second rogue level for evasion.
My advice would be to reroll. It looks like it will take forever, but it won't. When I started the game, I created a fighter first to gain a little game knowledge before I started on my "real" character. I switched at level 6, and my wizard made it there in no time, because I already knew the quests.
If you don't want to, there is the greater reincarnation option, but I think it's too expensive.

Well.. I would do just like the other posted indicated. Take another level of rogue for evasion and take advantage of all of the skill points that it will provide. If you solo with this character, it will be helpfull to have at least an open lock from time to time

I'm gonna go ahead and jump in with the reroll crowd. You obviously fell into the trap of seeing those shiny chests in Korthos and saying "holy ****, I totally need to splash rogue so I can get those!!!", only to realize that no, multiclassing does not work like that.
