Thanks to all those that stuck it out, this was a crazy long quest, extremely hard for the first time through. Lots learned, and next time around the time frame shoudl be much lower. FYI...get yourself a Mechanic ;)

LoL.. its to dam late to give it a go tonight. I gotta work in the morn, we'll probably be hitting it over the next day or two.

A few lessons learned:

1) the end boss has somewhere between 3 bazillion and 8 gadzillion hit points
2) make sure to have some resources--2 shrines doesn't quite cut it
3) the traps have high DCs (something over mid/high 60s for search--didn't find the range)
4) the traps hurt--500-600 a tick
5) the doors unlock fairly easily (unless there is a trap in front of them :) )
6) the chest on the drop down part seems to require about a 90 to unlock (roll of 20 + 70ish)
7) blade barriers and fire walls are very good things
8) mobs have reasonably high AC--so a bard is a big help

But yea me and some friends on khyber did this some 8 hours earlier.

Actaully did the whole VoN1-6 Series on epic.. 1-5 was smooth, But by the time we got to 6 and failed, we were too tired for a 2nd attempt :D

Don't think we even got any freakin seals, and the stupid buggy tokens. Someone people didn't get theirs =/

We did find a scroll iirc.. One of the crappy necklaces.

But maybe :p (pulling 12 people through multiple traps might ding a few more than pulling 6 through them). But maybe not--we might have made it through with zero deaths. I can't say--or the power that be will remove my typing fingers.

So not as fast as others, but we've taken Von 6 down. I like the strat in there, much different than any other raid in game to date. Takes some decent timing. 3rd Time was the charm.
