Just farmed enough turbine points to get the vale, and while I did manage to stumble over the entrance to the explorer area in the Twelve, (thanks to some hand holding from a friend) I can not for the life of me find the entrance to The Subterraine. I *think* you're supposed to go thru the large pot in the center of market place (hell I dunno)? Could some one point me in the right direction?

Yes, you enter through the large pot in the center of the Marketplace.

Yep, just click on the gold hatch and select the option to go down. You do have to get pretty close to it to be able to select it.

You didn't mention what level you are, so. The subterrain is in the center of the marketplace tent... however, it is a level 17-18 raid area, meaning it's designed for 12 people to run around in.

I'm lvl 18, but I didn't know it was a raid area (a raid explorer area?), which is probably why it didn't lemme in.

You just have to be right next to it, select the potion to push it aside and climb down.

All that means is that 12 people can go down there at a time instead of 6, it's that way because there are two raids off the explorer area. Nothing stopping you from going in there by yourself, just be prepared ;)

Yeah, raid instances don't scale so, if you are used to soloing, it might be a shock. $5 says the first living
meteor swarm smashes you through the floor :-)

Lol, don't worry. Based off of what everyone is saying, I'll drag along 11 of my closest friends with me when I go down :)

Join the next Hound of Xoriat (sp?) raid you see. There are no prereqs and you will get a taste of the Subterrean.

The Subterrane absolutely does scale. When I'm clearing to VoD to drop the forcefield, it's easy for me to tell when more people in the group enter the zone, as the monsters become substantially more difficult to kill, and start hitting a lot harder.

Interesting, I noticed no difference - I was still getting splatted with 200+ cometfalls solo.

hehehehehe...

First time I went down there was "to have a look around".

Dropped down and said to myself "So this is the Sub..." BAM! --Would you like to release?--

Fun stuff. :)

And by prepared he means set your bind point close by :D

Besides Hound and VOD Raids, you may see LFM's up for "Icy Raiment" farming runs. Are fun, get Slayers, loot, and a great way to see the Sub...

Oh, and if you get the Robe with your name next to it - can earn you some serious plat from your party mates!
