I thought they were level 1-3 casters? How the heck are they draining 10 points off of my strength?

What difficulty are you playing it on? They didnt do it to me on normal, but that was before Update 3.

They should be caster level 9 on elite, which in a formula of 1d6 + 1 per caster 2 caster levels gives them a range of bestowing a Ray of Enfeeblement that yields a 5-10 STR penalty.

I think they should nerf them .... just like the wicked air elies....

Now seriously if you have a problem with that use the baby difficulty ermm i mean casual. You wont encounter much spells there.

First run ever. Just before Update 3. Difficulty was either not selectable or I chose normal.

I did not run it on elite. If they are caster level 9 on normal then I can see why. I did not realize the default level for the adventure was 9+.

I'll read the descript again and see what level it is.

one of the saddest things about them redoing sewer rescue was removing the hob cleric from it. on elite (level 1 quest so level 3 on elite) he'd flamestrike the party of level 1s. cracked me up every time i saw it happen :D.
