There were some known issues with DC of Improved Trip feature (http://community.codemasters.com/forum/release-notes-513/324007-ddo-module-8-2-known-issues.html); have they been fixed? If not, it's probably not worth it, considering that you need also Combat Expertise to qualify for it.

That's the known issues from nearly a year ago. That's long since been fixed.

To answer the OP: Correct.

I'd take this on every str based melee class If I could.. But the feat cost is high, so generally best left to the fighters with there million feats.
