DDO is a rich game with lots to learn about! With the advent of in-game web access on the horizon, we’re always looking for great player-made guides on a variety of topics! Be sure to contact us about guides that you have found to be excellent help when you’re not sure where to turn!

Hey T & T,

Any chance we could get some details on what "in-game web access" means?

On the flip side. Anything in the plans for accessing parts of the game via the web? inventory, auction house, etc...

In game computer labs (probably in house P, buncha nerds) where you go and "use" them. From there you can go anywhere, even play a virtual DDO.

Lol, can you imagine someone dling ddo through ddo It would take 99d99999 hours.

Because people can't just alt-tab? I guess I'm missing the point of in-game web access.

Technically there is in-game web access already, but it is really awkward. You can use the help menu to call up some CS pages, and there are boilerplate links to bring up the DDO forum. From there you can find (or write) a post containing a link to google.com. Once at a web search, you can type in whatever you wanted to find and get the page in DDO's embedded IE control.

But the current in-game browser doesn't resize usefully or have the normal navigation controls, so it isn't useful to try reading other pages with.

Love the idea. Guide access in game without having to alt-tab or run DDO in a window. Seems good to me!

? There is already in game web access. If you go to the affiliate at the bottom of the knowledge base and go to their youtube page and search for google and goto google.com's youtube page you can scroll to the bottom where there is a direct link to google and there you go, you are browsing any webpage you want.

And here lies the REAL explanation to the mana pot fire-sale from the store.
