I'm thinking of starting a guild made up of people who play both DDO and WOW. Storyline would be that the leader of the guild (my dwarven fighter in DDO/ a dwarven warrior in WOW) found a SPELLJAMMER ship and is now captain of the ship and has a crew of people who he travels with. We are basically intergalactic ship travelers who travel on the ship from STORM REACH in EBBERRON to STORM WIND in Azeroth. We will be doing adventures and trading supply's between the planets.
Realistically, it would just be a bunch of people who love to play both WOW and DDO.
The one thing that I would be a stickler about is that we play alliance in WOW and that when you create characters, you basically are creating the same characters in both games, for instance, I am also gonna play a dwarven paladin named battleforge, who will be both a dwarven paladin in DDO and WOW. So essentially you are creating one character who travels from game to game and world to world.
Now I know that some of the WOW character races and classes are quite limiting with what you can be and DDO is way more open, but we will do the best that we can.
So here's a list of WOW classes and races that would fit into this thought...obviously there is no draenei because they don't have them in this game.
WOW RACES and classes:
Humans: Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock
Dwarves: Warrior, Paldin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest
Night Elf: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Druid
Gnome: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Warlock
Ok, with those posted, lets look at what we could have.
Warrior = Fighter or Barbarian, Paladin = paladin, Rogue = rogue, Priest = cleric or favored soul, Mage = Wizard, Warlock = sorcerer, Hunter = Ranger,
Their would be no druids allowed, and if you play a gnome in WOW, that would equate to a halfling in DDO. Human would of course be humans, Dwarves would be dwarves and Nightelves could be either Drow or regular elves.
Also, Deathknights in WOW( human and night elves only) would equate to some kind of Warforged, however I'm not sure what class just yet.
Do you think this would work ? does it seem like something that would interest you ?
I really am looking for feedback, so give me the +'s and -'s of this idea.
