Newb Monk Question Regarding Buffs

How do the get the Monk buffs to work?

I understand teh combos but is it a finishing move that makes them? How do I cast on a party member?

Yes, it is a finishing move. To use the finishing move, you need to have the finishing move icon on a hotbar.

Once you have completed the correct combo of ki strikes (say air+air+air), if you have enough ki your finishing move button will change picture and become enabled so that you can trigger the finishing move.

Where the buff is targetable, it targets whoever is in your selected viewport (or yourself it there is no appropriate target selected).

A good spot to learn/ test your finishing moves is in ataraxia on the scrag trolls. Since u need fire to kill them, if low level have a higher lvl person escort u. This way u can punch to your hearts content to build up ki step away from the scrag or just face away from it to do your fm setup and use. Since u don't want to accidently kill your ki dummy
