Is the Capstone worth it?

Thinking of rolling a new barb with 2 levels of fighter in the beginning for extra feats and heavy armor usage. The captsone looks okay but doesn't knock my socks off.

Is it worth it?

For 2 action points, I think it's worth it plus Mighty Rage at Lvl 20. +10 to Strength, +8 to Con.
If your going for Max DPS build, then it's worth it.

If not, then wouldn't 2 levels of Rogue be better for evasion.

That's another option - but not sure if I'd invest in enough Dex to make this worth while. 2 fighter levels gets you Haste Boost and an extra point of strength enhancement at level 2.

you can get haste boost from rogue too...

Heavy armor will do you no good as a barb, your AC will suck anyway.

The capstone + mighty rage is very nice, you'd have to really show that those 2 feats could give you more.

2 Splash of Fighter or Rogue is what I'm pondering and would like some feedback from 100% purebred Barbs as to if the Capstone kicked them from ubber to UBBER.

There is nothing like a 20th pure Barb...Everything stacks ...all the time...get the Capstone. Make a fighter if you want to be batman.

2 feats and haste boost versus 3 str, 2 con, and 3-4 glacing blow damage. I'd defintiely go for the pure barb.

The 2 feats would be what? Khopesh and Toughness/stunning blow for a twf-er?

2 rogue can be nice for UMD, Reconstruct/Heal and Teleport are handy tools. (And of course evasion. And Stoneskin wands. And etc etc).

Its not that useful in optimal groups tho - a caster can heal way better than you can.

But if you often low-man stuff or run with whatever guildy is online, it can be nice.

Isnt a 18 Paladin 2 rogue considered Batman lol.... of course back when I heard the saying it was an 8 Paladin 2 rogue.

And yes I really did enjoy getting my capstone and would generally recommend a Barbarian going for Max DPS to pick it up.

2 pally + 2 Rog + the rest fighter was the batman.
