well its the principalities of it all!!! :-P

I seem to forget to farm shroud most times and instead flake out and complete the quest. so its been slow going..

tier 3 will be a pain... going for concordant opposition on the goggles. :-/

4 - Large Glowing Arrowheads - have 0
1 - Large Gnawed Bones - 2
5 - Large Infernal Chains - 3
5 - Large Devil Scales - 2
3 - Large Twisted Shrapnel - 1
6 - Large Sulfurous Stones - 1


not bad for 4 shroud completions and 3 or 4 extra farming runs.

odds are that I will complete a gs weapon to tier 2 before I complete the goggles.

taking suggestions as to what I should get weapon wise. THF pally at the moment. but will respec into TWF once Greater reincarnation comes out and I hit 1750 favor.

do ingredients drop in the devils battlefield quests or rare chests?

Youre not to far for tier III there.

If you are going twf I would wait till you reincarnate to craft prolly, or make sure you craft those weapons you are going to use.

There are several choices you will have to make for weapons.

A. going paly agin?

If so might want to go with Lit II or x3 pos (or both) as holy sword is plenty good for bypassing dr (what you would craft min II for) Unless you are going for monster ac. Then you might want at least 1 min II for +4 insight bonus against mobs that you need to bypass dr (ie if you are s&b tanking a raid boss on hard or elite that needs something to bypass dr that min II covers)

B. the second thing you need to decide is what you want on them. You can get +4 insight on them, you can get +2 wis or con on min II, +2 dex on Lit II, 30% healing amp on x3 pos, etc etc etc blah blah blah. so it really depends on what type of build you are going for.

well, I am not sure if I am going to TR or just do a greater reincarnation. I guess it will depend on how much I really want the bonus stat points vs having to grind lots more xp. If I do GR I stay pally and pure 20, if I TR I could stay pally pure 20, or 18/2 paly/(monk or rogue), or go for a fighter or barb build. ( maybe someday the completionist thing )
just not sure what to do if I TR.

I may just GR and switch stats around and go twf, I have a +2 cha tome banked and will get another +2 from 1750 favor once I grind out the 289 favor ( seriously can't be that hard since I have not done a lot of the quests, and most all past harbor are not done on elite)

I doubt that I will go S&B ever again... :-( maybe if I get the right items and armor I might think about it. AC and I have many issues between us. All the numbers and possibilities make my head hurt.

As for weapons, I use a holysword cast on a greatsword if I know I am doing shroud. ( too bad no falchion available ) I am banking swords that are good one-handers for possible twf ( +5 metaline longsword of pure good )
but since I am not familiar with all the DR on monster and bosses I am still working on it. As for the GS weapons I hear min II, lit II, etc but have no clue what that means. ( guessing earth,earth tier 1/2 and air,air ? )

Once I hit lvl 20 and play in some PUGs with some epic quests, I will know more on if I want to keep my pally at 20 or work my sorc to 20 and use her to raid/farm gear. I had thought of using pally to farm, and TR sorc to a WF wiz possibly.

Back on topic --- what are the relative values of larges?

ie.. chain < bone < arrow < shrapnel < stone < scales ?
the prices in the AH vary too much for me to figure out. I know scales are like the toughest lg to get, but for me arrowheads and stones are more rare so far in all tiers.

what are the medium splintered horns good for(rogues/casters)? I have 2 so far, and looking up falchion GS it takes a large horn. can I just put 3 med horns into an altar and change em to 1 large? ;-) ( wishful thinking )

so at the moment I have a spare lg bone that I will either sell or try to trade... is it an even trade for a lg bone to lg arrowhead?
