playing same character on two computers

is there specific files to copy form one comp to another to allow playing same character on two different computers? I play both on my ldesktop and on my laptop. it appears that my characters are stored locally which would require copying them to 2nd comp.

The reason I think this is that i started on my laptop. then dl'd the game on desktop. when i ran it on desktop there was no character.

Characters are stored on the game server.

If you're logging in and not seeing your characters you either created a second account and are logging into it or you have chosen the wrong server.

Double check you logged in with the same account and accessed the same server too. Characters are specific to the server you play them on. :-)

I play on three different PC's - mine - wife's- work laptop when travelling. There is nothing to copy. You simply log in and all the DDO goodness is there to behold!

Oh, only difference is your UI and Key mapping is resident on a PC so it has to be set for each.

grrrr i logged onto a different server. did not even think about that being wrong wrong. thx guys
