How to cast healing spell on undead?

I tried casting a cure spell on an undead in combat.

Click on spell = casts cure on self.
Click on monster = attack monster with melee weapon.

Is there a way to force the casting on your target instead of yourself?

You have to "hard target" them. Right clicking is the default I think.

it sounds like you have auto-attck enabled, disable this, target the undead and then cast the spell.

OP, as others have said, you just need them hard targetted. clicking on them, tabbing to them, both should work.
