My thoughts on druids:

1. Hirelings - When hirelings were added, I instantly thought these were a side effect from developing the Druid's Animal Companion.
2. Pale Master - Since Wizards can change their creature type to undead in update 3, with an effect to how spells actually effect them and such, it seems that it would be possible for a Druid to now Wildshape into other creature types.
3. Heroic Surge - Tying this in with Wildshape here, if a Druid was to wildshape into their Earth or Air Elemental forms these forms would need to be toned down a bit possibly so that they would be useful and yet not overpowering.
4. Summon Monster - With the changes to summon monster, as expressed in this episode, Summon Animal spells - which the ranger already has - will prove to be much more useful (and as the spells are currently scaled towards ranger levels, and not druid levels, potentionally overpowering).

Yes! I agree. It was not exactly intended, but once it started moving in that direction I just sort of went with it.
