Valhallans Pull Helms in Orchard of the Macabre

Recently Valhallans led by Hiemer have been traveling into the Orchards of the Macabre. The groups have typically been smaller with all between level 10 to 13. We have done so without using the AH - the Brokers - or buying consumable magic. The last run enabled many to gain access to the coveted helm.

Not only are we doing these explorer areas - but are running the quests found in them
Desecrated temple (solo and duo)
Litany of the Dead (solo and duo)
Chambers (Elite)

For many this is the first time or first time in a long time (nearly two years) that we have run this type of content. Thus far - no wipes and no deaths where we were not unable to resurrect the fallen.

We will start forays into Meredia and are tagging numerous members for Von's and The Titan.

This recent higher level questing has greatly impacted our guild - and we hope to live through many more exciting adventures. I can't tell you the pounding of the heart when it gets hot in these areas where one small mistake - means a big loss.

Thank you for the shout-out there Kg, it is quite exhilarating to take you guys around this higher end content to experience it the PD way.

To be frank, yes to those of you out there that say this is Mod 6 or whatnot, I understand. However, those of us that have reached 10+ and are doing this content without dying at all is quite the accomplishment. There is a degree of fear that sets inside when you get tripped by the rogues, or held by a caster and swarmed by undead. You die, and you're done, so attempting this content at the level we are doing it is horrifically frightening at worst, and soothingly rewarding at best.


Litany hasn't been attempted yet as Kg stated, but its on the docket to be attempted hopefully within the next couple weeks. Gianthold is our next stop as well as the Titan and Vons raids. With a little coercion, I think I can convince Kg to do the Reaver raid too. =)


Sign up guys. I have many 20's that are not PD, and I have not had this much fun in quite some time. Its worth the effort to try it out.
