As I was perusing around the internet I came across an article. An article about a movie. An article about a movie based on a show. A show that I loved watching when I was growing up.

Which one is it? Well look here (http://www.beyondhollywood.com/the-a-team-trailer-is-pretty-freaking-awesome/)

Trailer and all!

 Liam Neeson is eerily similar. I can't wait to see this one.

I watched that faithfully when it was out. Then when Sleuth TV starting playing a lot of the 80's detective/detective type shows, A-Team was in there (but not anymore for some reason) and I had to watch again for nostalgia. Looks like the movie will be a fun watch.

Speaking of 80's remakes, this (http://clash-of-the-titans.warnerbros.com/) is the one that has me chomping at the bit to see. :D

Seems we'll be seeing Liam Neeson a lot this year, with both of these movies and then reprising his role as Aslan in "Voyage of the Dawn Treader."

Why are you surprised?

Things are brought back all the time! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOU8GIRUd_g) The '80s are particularly popular for this purpose, it seems.

While I like some of the actors involved I hate that show and resented my brother since it was one of his favorite shows and I had to sit through to much when all I wanted was to put my foot through the tv screen.

Oooooooh that does look good. Strangely enough another Liam Neeson role. Madds Mikelson and a few others too.

That looks like it's gonna be good. Liam Neeson? Shoot, I was lmao when I seen who was playing B.A. None other than UFC's Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Guess these guys figured if WWE wrestlers can make movies, so can they. I've seen a lot of them pop up recently. You even got Andre Arlovski in the new Universal Soldier movie.

Now that one is one I will break my no theater policy for(too costly). I've been chomping at the bit so to speak from the moment I seen the first trailer.

Yeah her link to that is the first I have seen of that one but it looks pretty good too. Maybe I should have the mods change the thread title to what's bringing the 80's back

As it turns out Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz are making cameo appearances in the movie too.

Heck No. The xp grind required for Reincarnated pet rocks is too much and needs to be lowered. :D

No Mr. T cameo?

Hollywood is systematically destroying my childhood memories.

As I read it Mr T felt it would be weird for him to make a cameo in the movie.

He said it wasn’t about money, because he turned down the chance to appear in the film before that was even discussed. He said it just wouldn’t be right for him to be in it. If his B.A. isn’t the main guy, then why do it? What’s wrong with the film that they need him to make a cameo? Plus they would market the film with him being in it, and he didn’t want his friends and family to think he would have some big role when he wouldn’t. He told me he has nothing against the cast or even the fact that they’re doing a remake. But a cameo is just something he wasn’t interested in.

Didn't want his friends and family to think he would have some big role when he wouldn't? Sounds more like an ego problem. Mr. T pitty the foo who isn't the star of the movie.

You can't blame that one on Hollywood though. They asked him too, he declined.

I can see a few reasons why it wouldn't work so well too, I mean how do you spin off the culpability of 2 very large black men with a ton of gold chains and the same signature mohawk with the only identifying difference being age?

They could have had one of the main characters run up behind him and mistake him for the new B.A.. That would have been pretty funny.

Face runs up and shakes Mr. T's shoulder.
(Mr. T turns around)
Face: "Oh I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else"
Mr. T: "Step off foo!"

Granted it would be a *very* short part, but I think it would be a nod to the fans.

Or he could play B.A.'s crazy uncle, lol. "The mohawk is in the genes"
