Fey Cretures?

I was searching the auction house and I saw a sword that dose bonus damage against FEY creatures. What creatures are considered fey creatures. A full list would be nice.

there was nothing on the fey creature classification.

The description on cold-iron weapons mentioning Fey creatures must have been copied from the source by the early game developers. There are no current Fey creatures in the game at this time.

But Hmm... I've done EVERY quest in game and I don't remember any fey being in game yet... No dryads, no nymphs, no sprites, no satyrs, no gnomes... :D But seriously, I haven't even seen one as of yet... Hmmmm. We also had a Pale Master set without having Pale Master as a class yet, but now we do.... Maybe future monster race to be put into game, eh? But then, the elf population would be ticked off at us for the ransaking of the pixie village and thus would start the great tree hugger, flower picking wars...

Also, as you describe the weapon, you said "bonuses" to fey creatures. Are you saying lesser, reg, and or greater fey bane? Or, are you reading the cold iron weapon desc that says bypasses DR of fey? That's diff since that desc has been in game since beta which was copied from a source book, not any real development in game. But is it's a bane weapon... I'd def would like to see it. No screenshot = didn't happen... ;)

At the time of the OP's post there were no fey creatures but now we have dryads.

You know, it's just possible, maybe, that a player is going through the forums, and sees a question that didn't get answered to their satisfaction, and might, maybe, want some more information.

Cold Iron bypasses the Damage Reduction of about 10 creatures, it seems. Sometimes, you have to mix in an alignment based DR breaker as well.

This is totally necro'd but brings up a memory of a few months before the Fens came out that there was an influx of plant bane weapons via the Vine Stalkers and now we have, I believe one dryad in kings forest and a Tree to beat down so gather your greater fey bane and greater plant bane weapons and go fight my fellow DDO'ians :eek: and maybe if you're feeling frisky take out those five Vine Stalkers in the Kings Forest as well.

I'm actually curious how he even found this thread to begin with.

A search for "cold iron" returns 500 results and still doesn't get you back to 2010. A search for "fey" is a little better you "only" have to go back 7 pages to get into that date range.
