Okay so I've been trying all day to get my stupid .net framework to work. Every time I try to download the DDO with turbine it will get to the point where it checks if i have .net and i do I have like 2.0. So I just removed the entire framework. I went back to download still it won't work i tried to go download it manually but when I do, it will get to like 100 percent and then it will say its rolling back and I'm all like what the duce and still it will not work.

I have 32 bit vista (so a course its gonna have problems :( )

And it will not install i used to play this all the time but now it wont work!

There's two possible issues here, mainly the game requires .Net 1.1 and its associated hotfix are installed, then it also needs 2.0 for some functions of the in-game options like the store, adventure compendium etc.

The 2.0 install that the launcher attempts often gets "stopped" on Vista/7 due to UAC/permissions issues. Try temporarily disabling UAC (http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/58b3b879-924d-4e08-9358-c316055d3eae1033.mspx) and after rebooting rerun the launcher.

If you do not have 1.1 and its hotfix/service pack installed though that would require installing those. First check the "Uninstall a Program" option in the control panel (Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program) and look for:

"Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1"
"Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 "Hotfix" (KB####)"

Both should be listed but there are some compatibility issues on Vista so it is possible only one may be listed. If so uninstall it (or both*) and redownload and reinstall them from the links below:

*Note: you might receive an error uninstalling the "hotfix" install but it should take itself out of the "Uninstall a Program" list anyway.

Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&displaylang=en)
The 1.1 Service Pack (Hotfix) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A8F5654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38&displaylang=en)

If you're still having issues though definitely open a support request (http://www.ddo.com/component/content/article/486-tech-ticket) if you haven't yet.
