ok so to get combat expertise I need a 13 int. This gives me more skill points then I know what to do with.

So far I am completely unimpressed with the healing skill. Unless some one can convince me otherwise I will not take it again.

UMD sounded nice but with a starting Charisma of 8 I can't get it high enough to get better then 30% success on cure serious wands. Potions are faster and cheaper (when you consider the fail rate of wands).

And the cost of non-class skills are part of the problem, 2 skill points for 1 point of most skills.

so of course I am pumping up intimidate and balance, but no other skills seem worthy. Jump and swim? I have yet to see a need for high scores in either, but this is where I might spend the extra points.

Tumble? Does it do any good by itself? I am not taking any feats or enhancements that need the tumble skill.

Disable device? Doubt I could raise it high enough to be of any use, same with spot and search.

Haggle might be useful to save and earn a bit more cash when dealing with vendors.

Am I missing something?

1 rank into tumble, max umd (yes it is worse it as with 20umd you can bypass most weapon restrictions) and balance

if you are human i'd also take jump. there are more occasions than you think where a good jump skill is useful.

Tumble is good if you're going Stalwart Defender. It's the fastest way to move around in the defensive stance. Jump always comes in handy too.
