Prices on Mithril Fullplates?

What manners of prices should one expect to see on Mithril Fullplate +5 with no other abilities? I've got a +4 now and am hunting for a +5 but found out that I should be looking to play 3-4 million for one, which is about about as much money as my account can hold in its entirety.

What kinds of courses are there? The cheapest I saw on AH was 1 million; is that the standard? Is it possible to buy them for...say, 50k plat? That's about as much as I could raise right now.

The reason you can expect to pay so much for straight +5 mfp is that it comes with a lower ML of 8. 1 mil plat is a reasonable AH price. Just keep in mind that you will most likely not be in it that long and unless you plan to recycle it to other toons of yours, I'm not convinced it's worth the extra ac vs. +4 for the price you will be paying.

1 mill plat for a +5 mfp is insane. 1 mill gold yes, not 1 mill plat. I paid 2 mill plat for +3 metalline handwraps of pure good, those are rare, just were put into the game within the week I bought them. I cannot see an item that has been around since the dawn of the game, pulled by many many people and is fairly obsolete actually worth 1 mill plat even if min level 8. 1 mill plat may be posted but really it is not worth it, 100k plat makes more sense, maybe 500k at the very most I could see anyone reasonably paying for it, but that's desperate. It is not a make or break item for anyone, like maxwell said, the bonus to AC you are getting is not worth it for too much plat.

yeah id say for a clean min lvl 8 mfp 100k - 200k is a good # its mainly twink gear till u can get the better Raid / Dt / Epic armor in the higher levels
