I have a raid tank build that I've been working on that is lvl 16 now. I took the 2nd lvl of stalwart which is supposed to grant +1 to my max dex allowed on mithril armor. However, apparently it doesn't stack with fighter armory mastery? Can anyone confirm this?

I was planning for +10 dex to ac as follows:

5 mithril body
3 from fighter armor mastery
2 from stalwart (lvl two and three)

anyone know for sure?

Mithral Body counts as light armor. Stalwart Defender does not increase the max dex allowed for light armor.

Stalwart Defender I: Max dex for tower shields is increased by 1
Stalwart Defender II: Max dex for tower shields and heavy armor is increased by 1
Stalwart Defender III: Max dex for tower shields, heavy armor and medium armor is increased by 1

So the net effect for all three levels is tower shields increases by 3, heavy armor increases by 2 and medium armor increases by 1.

To achieve your +10 goal you will need to look at taking Mithral Fluidity feat(s) and/or the Fighter Past Life feat.

The SD and armor mastery enhancements do stack and they also stack with the dwarf armor enhancements. The variable that im unaware of is mithril body. I'm not quite sure how that works as I could not bring myself to play a WF.

Additionally, since you are warforged, you cannot get the extra dex bonus out of adamantine plating even if you upgrade. They implemented it bugged and I'm certain by now that they will never fix it.

Basically anyone who rolls a WF Stalwart or Def of Sib is at -2 AC under where they should be. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fighter Past Life will not work with WF plating as well since it probably uses the same code.

The question is all wrong in the first place.

Stalwart Defender gives a bonus towards ARMOR over what your natural bonus is.

Warforged don't wear armor...they wear DOCENTS over their natural (chosen at level 1) plating.

By definition Stalward Defender cannot aid a Warforged.

Huh?

Then why is it in the known issues list?

and why does FAM and other enhancements work with WF plating?

You are wrong, it's just a bug.
