The music/drums in Tangleroot Gorge are quite annoying to me. I've got music volume all the way down, and I'm still hearing them. Any way to get rid of those without turning off sound completely (which is a bother when hunting)?

I don't remember hearing any drums. Perhaps it is the double heartbeat of a Timelord heard through the Untempered Schism.

The drum sounds you are hearing are part of the ambient sound of Tangleroot Gorge and thus are part of "Sound Effects Volume" and not "Music Volume".

Alas, I'm currently not in a state of delirium and thus nonsense isn't my native tongue right now. You will only get sense (even if only half-baked barely recognizable sense) for the time being. :)

Don't get me started. I tried making a small list of the things that were wrong with that episode and it went off the page.

The drums can be silenced. I just don't remember if it was the music, or the dm soundtrack, or the sfx in general. At least, they used to be. I'll have to check again and see if there's something wonky tomorrow. If there is, it's disturbing. I'd hate the other stuff I previously silenced to start making noise again. Come to think of it, that's a really disturbing class of bugs I didn't think about before. Really, imagine if arbitrary sound channels stopped behaving.

It sounds to me as if the Music and Sounds Effects are coming on the same channel. I don't have that issue in any other area.

Those are not drum sounds from the game. Those are war drums coming from your spouse for spending too much time on the computer.
