Thanks guys, for helping this noob through VON flagging this morning. It was definitely a learning experience!

Before my next run through, I will definitely have to pick up some scarabs to use in conjunction with deathward cookies for the Beholders...and a paralyzing bow.

Even though we died...many times (especially before Planeterror showed up)...and even though some people turned down my bribing plats hush monies, I had a blast!

PS: Oh, and if any of you guys in the run actually visit the forums and see this thread, I did manage to capture the second Marut fight (yeah, we ran it twice) on video (http://www.wegame.com/watch/vault-of-night-3-marut/)...you know, the time we didn't screw up with stuff like summoning an iron defender to have it grease the people blocking the door so Marut could kills us all. LOL!

OMG I totally would if I had thought to start a capture then! And I'm kicking myself for NOT taking one!

I love hilarious moments like that...but sadly, those savages had me - the poor innocent GIRL (yeah, I know...cheap shot) - kiting Marut around every time the party wiped and had to res. I was too busy hopping around like a 6 year old on 10 cups of coffee to think about taking one...not to mention getting dizzy, too. Haha!

It was pretty funny, though...standing in front of the door and wondering "why the eff am I sliding?" only to realize AFTERWARDS that someone summoned a defender. Fun times!

Fun stuff though getting through von 3 the first time. Pretty epic encounter there in the beholder room, nothing else like it.
