Is there a way to check how close my account is to being suspended for disciplinary reasons?

It doesn't appear so.

In a typical vbulletin installation, infractions are counted and displayed in the user cp. It appears that either turbine isn't using the default infraction system or they have disabled displaying it to us.

You would need to talk to a mod to find out the total limit (when you would be tempbanned) and your current amount of infractions.
