well never had the intro movie run when starting the game but know that it is it keeps crazhing with windows vista ...is there anyway to stop it from running?

If you press enter as soon as the turbine logo appears, it will skip the intro movie. Once you skip it once, it should never play again unless you press the "play intro" button on the character login screen.

maybe it freeze before intro movie then? all i know it freeze right when i choose server and all i see is one those robot dudes and there is something in the background.

i guess best way to say it would it freeze on launch

I found a way to turn it off on vista 32.

Start/Documents/Dungeons and Dragons Online/UserPreferences

Find where it says "ShowIntroMovie=True"

Change True to False.

"ShowIntroMovie=False"

And it doesn't show the intro.


I had the same problem that you detailed.
Now I can play the game, but when I finish the first little dungeon with my rogue. It crashes when I leave the cave
