I searched through the known issues forum and cant find any mention of this. Yesterday once I reached lvl 5 on my monk, I turned on my wind stance and my dexterity went up from 21 to 23. However it showed my ac going from 28 down to 27. When I turned off wind-stance, it went back up to 28. I tried logging in and out and turning wind-stance on and off numerous times but still got the same effect.
Im now lvl 7, but wind-stance is showing the same thing. Whenever I turn it on, my dexterity goes up, but my ac goes down. Is this just a UI bug or is it a real problem?

Yep its weird. Before level 5 mine was also going up 2 higher, now its showing one lower. I bug reported and put in a ticket yesterday, but got no reply for the remaining 3 hours I was on.......
What level are you now?
I tried taking off all equipment etc...but it stil does it. Everytime its making my dex +2 but my ac -1.

if you get +2ac with windstance then its a bug. it gives only +2dex at lvl5, should only +1 ac
anyway, way there maybe an invisible pala running around and messing with you?
a bored gm maybe, who knows

Nah I thought of the pally explanation right away, which is why I went to several different locations to check it out. Ive checked it alone by myself in quests for 2 days now. It is 100% a bug of some sort. Could be only to my character, that I dont know. Certainly needs to be looked into though. One reason I use wind stance is to have ac increase not decrease.

Have you reported it yet?
If not, please do with as much information as you can fit.

Were you just looking at the number that shows up on the character sheet / inv screen? I've noticed that this number isn't correct all the time, almost like it has a problem updating. If you hover over the number and get a breakdown of the AC calc (feat, dodge, etc), it seems to be accurate and can be different from the first number.
I was trying to figure AC several times and it was driving me crazy that my calcs were different from what was on the character sheet / inv screen until I started looking at the breakdown.

My friend said that the stat screen also shows his ac going down, but when he checks his item(backpack) screen, it shows ac increasing by 1 when using wind stance. I intend to verify when I get home. Will update.
And yes I did submit a detailed bug support. That way even if its just a ui bug, at least they will know about it.

Confirmed that it is indeed a UI bug. When I check my backpack screen, it shows my ac going up by 1. So unless that is the UI bug, then the stat screen must be UI bugged haha.

yeah I just checked with an alt same issue. on the character screen it does screw up the ac if you leave it open and go into wind stance. if you close and reopen it does correct.
don't know why it shows it going down, just weird.

I saw this too. When I pulled my robes off and put them back on, the number corrected itself. Very odd.

Same thing. I went into a tavern and tried it again it seemed to fix itself though.
