game after 10

Ok, im kind new in this server i have a rogue 16 in a europian server but i only have one toon here.

In there (eur servers) the majority number of groups where after lvl 10 ( the giant hold "fest" ) so at that time i have done almost all gh quests a bunch of time. Now i cant find partys for GH... is everyone in static groups or guildie runs?

Im getting bored of running desert/orchad chests...

I personally wait till 12-13 to start running gh. Its not worth running earlier imo now. Some others feel this way now as well.

Of course I personally rarely pug either so I guess its really not much help to ya .

One - as Quik said - there's no reason to run quests over-level at all anymore. You should be running every quest when you are a level above said quest.


Two - have you tried putting up LFM's ? I just ran a TR through all that content this week and had no problem getting a group when I wanted to (except when I put up the "coal chamber zerg - need someone who won't die" LFM) - and I didn't really want a group - I just wanted a fellow zerger for ... zerging purposes. ;)


Anyway - start your own groups! I haven't seen many gianthold lfm's unfilled on sarlona this week ... and I've played many many hours, and generally watch the lfm's.

Well i am not much a leader since English is not my main language, i can understand almost all ppl say but cant say all i want by voice i miss the vocabulary for that.

Probably my schedule is not good... i can only play from 10pm~~4am (GMT) is true i have been in some nice groups and all the ppl i meet (at least the vip ones) where very friendly.

I will hopefully find a way though this.

Well beside that i will try to get a party for VON maybe i can get a party for that!

I was thinking about joining that on my tr'd fighter, but you had only casting classes up, so i said eff it :D

Sarlona has had a huge Chinese pop for a while now, many are used to a slight language barrier. I wouldnt worry bout it, throw up a group :D Put in your lfm, "My english not so good, so know what you do :)"

Not that make any diference but im not chinese, im portuguese... i live in Madeira island, where the Madeira Wine comes from!

Two words: True Reincarnation. The current crop is majority 8-12 right now. You'll have groups in no time.

I'm just past that on my TR and 12 seems to be the last of the "This isn't so bad."

Level 13 seems to be the big hump to get over when you are doing a TR.

Post the lfm. I have a couple of different characters in that range that I can run. I'll look for you in-game.

AS others have said, I too am a TR and am LVL 9--usually i would be out in the gianthold by now but Im trying to do all other content first. And as I understand I cant even get into the quest area at lvl 9 anymore--but I haven't tried on my other egular old lvl 9 alts that can use the transporter.

Tonight was a pretty fun!

Its 4am and i have to go work tomorrow or else i would stayed for more fun time.

Just went into a randowm group for gh the fof and trial by fire both runned smoth with no prob. Group spread since some had to leave.

Then i just found a nice group for necropolis (the shadow tombs and then crypt) no dedicated rogue or healer. Was very fun i have done the traps in The Shadow tomb of the lord (the one where you have to do 20 traps for optional).

I was a little concerned about the viability of the group but in the end we have done just fine...

orchard and desert is more xp per min than gh now with the nerfs, even ppl who dont fully understand that concept are starting to feel this and find that killing undead = where the xp is. i generally can take a char from 9-16 from necropolis alone (first crypts then orchard), i dont even touch gh until then for flagging/favor purposes.

of course not everyone can stomach grinds like i can, i literally run quests 12 times on normal then once on hard and elite, until i find a faster way to lvl i will continue to do so :D

Most folks on TR or on new chars can (and do) solo or duo quests faster than they could with an average pug, but if they see an LFM for something in that range, most will also say ehh, what the 'eck and join. I know I do. :)

The massive exp re-balance moved people from starting GH at lv 9 to starting at 11-12, since without +30% for under-level exp, gianthold isn't actually very fast leveling compared to 30,000 exp wiz-king runs.

is good to know that about the exp from quests...

I havent done any orchad or desert yet (only slayers and rares) im gona try to go there tonight, i dont know that quests very well anyway, but im sure someone do.
