Yeah, so somewhere between my old harddrive being wiped, and getting everything restored, my characters (All really, but Im more concerned with the ones on Thelanis) dont show up when I enter the game. The show up on the My DDO, but that seems to be the extent of it.
I sent Support an e-mail a week or so ago, but nothing back. Nothing at all. Not so much as a "We are looking into this odd occurance."
It might be something on my end, but I highly doubt it as the patcher, except for today, hasnt downloaded anything (Even after the patching today, my characters still dont show) for weeks

Your characters are stored on the server, and have nothing to do with your HD dying.
If they are not showing up, and you are actually logging into the correct server (you aren't remebering in correctly) then it sounds more like you may have created a new account rather than logging into your old one.

This.
If they're showing up on MyDDO, and you're logging into the correct server, sounds like you might be logging into the wrong account (maybe unintentionally created a new one).

A buddy of mine had a similar problem. The data files on your harddrive were corrupted so he had to uninstall and reinstall the game and that fixed it for him.

As long as DDO is on the box, you can log any account, any box. Should have nothing to do with Hard drive.
Right, or he switched to F2P and all his toons were WF.

They would still show up, just as Unavailable.

He would still get to see the characters on the login screen. They would just have a "Buy Now" Tag over them.
My vote is he logged on a different account.

I only have one account. Even if I id have more than one, Im logging into the same account as MyDDO. And I think it does have something to do with my end, as I saw a glimps of it the last time I had to install DDO, but it didnt last long as the update fixed whatever cause the problem.
Perhaps its a file requesting from an incorrect location, valid, but incorrect?

Have you tried reinstalling? As everyone knows, restarting/reinstalling is the #1 solution to all your tech problems!
nvm had an idea but reread your post and changed my mind.

Yeah. Re-downloaded (Man, that takes a long time when the internet is being ********) and re-installed. I wish there was a "Complete check" in the DDO launcher

So....No one has anything they think might possibly help me out?

What you are describing is inconsisitant with the way the game works (IE - Impossible.)
Occam's Razor states once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains is the solution, even if improbable. (with the most likely of the improbable solutions being, well, most likely.)
Therefore I submit that your cat/dog/gerbil accidently deleted your character in the middle of dancing the watusi on your keyboard while you were out.
Or, that while very drunk, you got on general chat, and started spamming a variety of drunken profanity, epithets, and gibberish, and got your characters banned.
One of the two.

I vote for the first -- accounts get banned, not individual characters, so he wouldn't even be able to log in with said account and would have had to resort to the options previously presented (i.e. created a new account)..

Considering how long it's been since MyDDO was updated (over a month for several of my toons) it's entirely possible the characters were deleted somehow and yet are still showing up on the site.
Hope for a good ticket response I guess. Good luck.

I was aiming more for funny, but I appreciate the additional information. I hope to never get banned, but I suppose the information may be relivent someday... If only as a deterent.

I dunno...I still think it's a different account. There's a way to check for sure, though.
Log into http://myaccount.turbine.com with whatever username you're logging into the game with.
It should show a list of your "subscriptions" (game accounts) on the main page after logging in.
IF in your DDO account section, your Forum Username doesn't match the username you're logging into the forums and MyDDO with, you've probably (unintentionally) setup a new account.
If they DO match up, then you've got other problems.
In either case, you'll probably have to get someone @ Turbine to either take a look at what's happening (if your accounts DO match up), OR have them help you figure out what your old account username was.

looks like I have other problems, becuase they do match up.
As for MyDDO being slow to update, it had quests that I did a couple weeks before.

I'd be updating and changing all of your account data then.
And never hand out your password to anyone.

I'm thinking you got hacked and your characters deleted, most likely either by someone you know who got angry with you, someone who accidentally or deliberately figured out your password or from some kind of third party who somehow got your info (of course you wouldn't do this, but people in the past have had their accounts stolen-hijacked-deleted by plat selling services, that kind of thing, even if it was for a game outside of DDO). I will be interested in seeing how this ends up.

If my characters are truly deleted, then that would suck because of all the turbine points Ive spent on my main, not to mention time spent playing

on the plus side, anything other than consumables is account-wide, so any new characters you create would have those adventure packs, etc. available still.

Dont get me wrong, Steamtunnels and the catacombs are nice adventure packs, but they dont quite make up for the +3 stuff I baught, or all the stuff I had collected.
And I had just gotten past the dragonmark-on-customs issue.
Edit: I dont know why I didnt think of this before. I just logged onto my friends account, his character loaded, and, shame on him for not already having me on his friends list, I added my main character, Vedrit (go figure), and he was added with no problems, so my account cant have been hacked and my characters deleted, or else my main wouldnt show on the friends list, right?
A step in the right direction, I think
Edit2: You'll never guess it, but I just stumbled on something. A seperate account.
Wow, dont I feel the fool. Who knew that I had made a second account and used it as a primary, and forget that the first was abandoned? This topic can be closed, and "nOOB" can be added to my username XD

+1 rep for admitting this. ;)
Glad all is good.
