Can't log in. help?

In short, I keep timing out. I just downloaded the game, so am I doing something wrong? It goes through all of the Logon attempts and then I get kicked off. It is currently 1:52 I i do not know the time zone)on December 13. So... help? Any advice? is it because i am using wireless internet? Really I am just confused.

I did not pay for anything when i signed up, could that have something to do with it? Do I have to pay? ugh I am frustrated
