Hairstyle and color screenshots?

Is there anywhere where I can see screenshots of the actual hair styles and colors that can be bought in the DDO store? The icons in the store give a general idea, but it's not the same as seeing what the style or color actually looks like in game. I don't want to waste points and then not end up liking how the new style looks on my character.

I have a bit of a gripe about these things. I have tried a couple on guys I made who have hair I have grown to hate. Some of these hairstyles don't affix to the character's just right, and, in some cases, look like leggo clip-on hair or a bad wig. There is no way of knowing what will work or won't until you purchase the hairstyle and try it out. It would be great if there was some sort of try-before-you-buy or return mech for these. Hell, 5 minutes would eb more than adequete.

My main problem with them is that they tend to change your hair color becuase they dont seem to call on exactly the same colors of the palette.

I have a character that's very pale blonde and the texture-accents in her hair are darker; when I switched to a bought hairstyle, her whole hair turned that darker color and it looked terrible; you couldnt make out any of the shape of it because it was all basically the same color.

I reverted.

I wanted to make a drow with white hair, and I wanted to wear one of the hairstyles available from the store, but when I applied it my white hair turned gray, I tried applying 'Snow Hair Dye' to whiten it up, but it had no effect. Then I changed my hairstyle hoping it wouldn't have the same effect on the colour, it did. So I deleted the character out of frustration, made a new one with purple hair, which I promptly deleted the next day, wasting a lot of T-points..

My girlfriend changed her character's hairstyle, which darkened the hair considerably. This was fine, except her eyebrows remained a very very bright yellow.

Yeah, well, my sorcerer got in a fire fite and went bald, so like this was the best they could do for him. Lol, he's even uglier than before (he started with the mohawk).

Changed his hair color to snowy, looks more natural. Now he just looks like a grumpy old man. Sad, but it's an improvement.

here's my char with one of the new hairstyles. I think it's 'natural wavy long'. Application of a little hair dye too (and I notice eyebrows seem to match). I"m quite pleased with the end result.

Nice, I wish I had taken screenshots of the Wildman hair. I really liked the back, minus the dumb small rat tail down the back, but the front also had a massive side bald spot, it looked strange.

Do you know which hair type that was, Jemaniya? I think it might be useful if we keep a record so that other people know what they're getting, since Turbine isn't seeming able to post screenshots quickly.
