I wish they would implement some alternate means to pay for DDO points. I am having trouble buying points. I tried using the same 2 cards I use to pay for both my accounts, and it gives me an error message saying something about I'm not in an allowed region....Im living outside of the USA right now, but its in an international city which is well-established as a financial hub.

So my cards are good enough to sub with month after month, but not good enough to buy points? What kind of sense does that make?

I tried paying through paypal, but then it says my account needs to be verified.....sigh. Talk about a pain in the rear.... So now I have to wait for my cc statement to type a code into paypal. Hate using paypal anyway because they try to rip you off every chance they get.

Really dont understand why DDO has to make everything so difficult. The game has been out around 5 years, geez, its frustrating when things are so rough after all this time. Also pretty irritating that I need to be logged into the game to buy. Why is there no way to to log in to a regular webpage with account name and pass. Seems a lot can be done to smooth out the DDO Store shopping experience. Namely that if a card is good enough to sub with, then it should surely be good enough to buy some points with, without having such a huge hassle.

My issue is simular.

My card worked fine for my VIP sub. But it cant, no matter what I do, buy any points from the DDO store.

Funny thing, they are missing out on about $40.

Ive verified my paypal account even. And it still wont let me pay.

I have tried the usual method. No dice.

Every error is a rejection of my card. Is it my IP address? You have my card on file turbine, you already accept money from it. Yet, you wont let me toss some more money your way? Is it cause I am in europe? Is it causing flags all over the place?
