I posted for this in the Request a Build thread and I am anxious to see what is created. I downloaded the Character Planer to try giving it a whirl myself, as well. This is my first attempt at using the Character Planner, so I'm sure that I missed quite a bit. I am also not very familiar with the monk in DDO and I do plan to remedy that as soon as I unlock 32 pt characters.
However, I am on the verge of unlocking 32 pt characters and would like my first to be unique. I did not utilize and enhancements tomes in the build, as I will be adding them, but I do not wish to be dependent on recieving them at certain levels.
I also did not list gear as my knowledge of the best gear per build is very limited - I was hoping for some suggestions on what gear I should work for.
Any advice, suggestions, or critiques will be very much appreciated. I definitely need help to make this a viable character.

Below is a copy of my original criteria and the build from the planner.
I would like to request a build for a Holy Monk that would be a cleric/monk
mix. I want the character's clerical abilities more focused on buffing for
protection/combat enhancement. The clerical abilities would augment the
monk's abilities. The character can back up the party's healer, but is not
THE party healer. They would be a melee combatant.
I would like the build to capitalize on the synergy between the 2 classes
and really blend their abilities while having a very unique flavor compared
to all of the builds out there. I do not want a "splash" of either class
(i.e. 18/2) to have a cleric with a monk splash or vice versa and dont
really care about the highest levels in spell usage as they would consider
themself a monk. The levels don't have to be even at 20th level, by all
means either - whatever makes the most sense.
The build would not be hinged on high end items, but suggestions on
what would complement this build would be greatly appreciated.
No Tomes. I will add tomes as I find or can purchase them, but I do not
want any tomes factored into the effectiveness of this build (none of my
characters have actually used tomes yet.)
I am thinking handwraps for the weapon, but I am open to other ideas as
well. I prefer a human for this build, but I am open to other ideas if there
are better ones available.
In addition - I would like you to consider the possibility of one of the Human
Dragonmarks - I think Dragonmarks are a pretty fun idea to play with. Not an
absolute necessity, but just something to add a very interesting flavor (and
the whole "mysticism" thing.)

favor to go to unlock them. So please include what you would do differently
for a 28 pt. I plan on building it the moment I have 32 points as a keeper (but
I would like to playtest the build for a couple of levels when you are done.)

I don't lreally like intimidate, but I'm not adverse to diplomacy. I haven't really
tried bluff yet.
