DR items

Do DR irems add up, or does only the highest number for each damage type count...

So if i have an item that has DR 1/-
And an item that has DR 3/slash, bludgeoning

Will i get 3 or 4 DR from arrows or other piercing weapon?

Or at higher levels, i have an item that is DR 20/- and an abbility (FvS) that is DR 10/adamantine, will those add up?

only hte highest counts

passive dr doesnt stack with other passive dr (only exception: favsoul dr and wf body dr)
passive dr stacks with active dr (aka blocking)

Only the best applies. They generally do not stack. (I can think of only one instance so far where it does. And you have to be a WF FVS with adamantine plating.)

Correct. Pretty much assume it does not stack ever unless it explicitly says so (like the warforged DR enhancements and warforged FvS lvl 20 DR) and those only stack with themselves. It only adds to existing adamantite, nothing else (which is exactly what the tooltip says). That+shield DR, no items, nothing else stack.

These will not stack, you will have 20 dr from docent of defiance
