Need a little assistance, I have a general idea of what I am trying to do. It's just working with the enhancements, feats, attributes. I would use a +2 dex tome before level 6ranger just for ITW, this is just a general guideline of what I am looking for. Any help would be much appreciated.

A few things I noticed:

Start Ranger, you get more skill points that way.

+2 Tomes have a level 7 minimum, but you likely won't find any until level 14 or so. There are some currently in the store, but they are only on sale during special events. So unless you have one, it will be hard to count on. On the plus side, you don't need a 17 Dex for ITWF. Rangers get that regardless of Dex. But you will need it for GTWF which you can take once you have a BAB of 11.

Power Critical is pretty much a waste of a feat, especially for a Kensai. Almost any other feat would be a better choice. The Cleave line is pretty weak, though not entirely useless. Why are you taking it?

You're missing GTWF. If you're going to go TWF there's really no point in stopping short, especially since you're already using a tome to meet the requirements and wasting a feat on Power Critical.

Just things I noticed from a quick once over. Maybe someone else can check for anything I overlooked. Overall though, pretty solid.

Edit: Not neccesarily a problem, but you will need at least a +3 wisdom item and probably a spell point item to cast spells. A wis tome would reduce the value of the bonus of item needed, but that's getting pretty expensive. But Ram's Might will be a basic part of this build and not being able to use it will suck. Make sure to look for items ASAP and budget for the slots needed.

As above, also, unless I am missing something (haven't had my first cup of coffee yet....) you're missing spring attack needed for tempest.

so Kensei Dwarven Axe is an ok choice?

The feats will be fixed I was just rushing through the program just to get it done with.

Enhancement wise any suggestions I've been trying to search for similar builds to get an idea but I must be blind or something because I don't see anything other then a 12 FTR 6 RGR 2MNK.

How do the attribute points look?

so just go like
lv 1 rgr
lv 2-3 bar
lv 4-8 rgr
lv 9-20 ftr

The reason you are seeing that is the 2 barb doesn't give you much of anything except a very short low level rage with lower AC. The 2 monk gives you better saves and 2 free feats and better AC. 2 more fighter would give you 1 more feat.

Dwarven War Axe works fine with a Tempest Kensai. With the the Dwarven Axe enhancements, and the fighter weapon enhancements it works even better. And since the Fighter and Kensai bonuses only work with 1 type of weapon, it makes sence to use 2 of the same type.

The attributes are fine so long as you're ok with finding the +2 Dex tome and the wisdom item.

ddoplayer made a nice catch with Spring Attack, so you'll have to work that in. I would probably take Evil Outsider over Elemental as my second Favored Enemy, but that's for later game and can be switched out later.

As for enhancements, they can be easily reset so it's not a huge matter, but I would focus on the requirements for Kensai, the Dwarven Axe enhancements, Fighter weapon enhancements, Toughness enhancements, and Favored damage and saves enhancements. Ranger Sprint Boost is another favorite of mine. Also remember teh Extra Rage and Extend Rage enhancements to maximise the usefulness of your 2 Rages per shrine. Once you feel comfortable keeping Power Attack on all the time, add Barbarian Power Attack.

As for the order of leveling, I like to mix things up a bit. I like to start with 2 Ranger for the extra skill points and early access to TWF. Some people like to go straight to Ranger 6 and Tempest, but I like to hold off a bit allowing me to get higher skills in things like Spot and Stealth and to be a little more powerful from 1-6 beacuse I've taken some useful feats.

So after 2 levels of Ranger, I would probably take a level of Fighter and take OTWF so I can start using dwarven axes sooner and one of Barbarian for Fast Movement. Then 2 more levels of Ranger and Ram's Might. So that's Ranger 4/ Barbarian 1/ Fighter 1 at level 6. I would probably then take 1 more level of Barbarian then 1 more of fighter and pick up Improved Critical with the bonus feat at 8. Then I'd take 5 level of Ranger, levels 3 and 4 of Fighter then level 6 of Ranger at level 12, taking GTWF with my level 12 feat. Then the rest Fighter.

But going without ITWF would be painful if you're not used to the quests in that level range. In the future, using THF until level 11 then using a Lesser or Greater Reincarnation would be a good option.

The reason you see 2 Monk or Rogue on these builds is for Evasion, a very nice ability. The Monk also gives 2 feats and an AC bonus and the Rogue unlocks some nice skills and gives some Sneak Attack damage. But Evasion is not required and 2 Barbarian on a DPS character isn't a bad splash. In fact, I've been working on a similar build to this with a 2 level Barbarian splash.
