I'm not experienced with end game content or with the nice building programs so this is just going to be typed out and starting stats.

Strength 16 < level ups go here
Dexterity 14
Constitution 16
Int 8
Wis 12
Chr 12

I'm going Bard 1 / Ranger 9 / Bard 5 / Fighter 1 / then alternate ranger and bard.

Skills:
I'm using bard levels for performance and UMD while I use ranger levels for spot, search, move silently, and hide. I work in concentration where I can.

Feats:
Dodge, Mobility, Spring attack, Weapon focus, power attack (slashing), extend spell, improved critical (slashing), toughness.

If I don't need toughness, as I've noticed some people say you can get that from items, I'd like to go mental toughness. I'm afraid I'm going to be pretty spellpoint light.

Enhancements:
I know I'm going to want the tempest and warchanter enhancements, the axe enhancements, the resist spell enhancements, the bonus to hit and damage enhancements for my song and favoed enemy. Not really sure what else.

Toughness from items is wrong - this property of the item Minos Legens was changed.

Power attack (slashing) is just power attack - it applies to everything.

A little back ground on what you are trying to accomplish with this build would be helpful and allow people to offer better suggestions, ideas , and critiques. Your posting as stated is leaving yourself open to some potentially harsh criticism. Might I suggest a few things you might want to elaborate on and add any other additional info you feel would be helpful.

What roll are you trying to fill with this build?

Why did you select the classes you did?

What is your reasoning for taking xx levels of each class?

Why did you pick the race you did? Are you open to different races?

etc. etc. etc.

I originally posted this character in the multi-class discussion. My plan was 12 ranger, 8 bard for a very self sufficient, gish type build. I wanted to be able to get haste, evasion, and good dps. It was suggested that I drop ranger to 11, and gain a level of fighter for the additional feat. I also like the gain of fighter haste boost and fighter toughness.

I'm open to any suggestions, but that doesn't necessarilly mean I'll be taking them. The basis of this character is a twf dwarf bard. I've looked over the bard 18 / Fighter 2 as well as the Bard 16 / Fighter 2 / rogue 2 builds, and I just don't like them, I understand that they get better bard toys, but they're too blah for me. If there's a very compelling reason to go that route rather than my route, I could be sold on it though.

If I change race, it'll probably be to human, I've got a couple elves already, a halfling I like, and I just can't get behind warforged. My highest character is level 11, so I don't have tons of equipment to channel down, though I can arrange for some.

People can be as harsh as they want to, I'm a big boy, I can take it.

Power attack (slashing) was suppose to be "Weapon focus (Slashing), power attack". Oops.
