DR does not stack. However, different types of DR work independently.

For example, say you have DR 10/adamantine, DR 5/slashing, and DR 3/-.

If the attacker hits you without adamantine, you absorb 10 damage.
If the attacker hits with with adamantine/metalline, but not slashing, you absorb 5 damage.
If the attacker hits you with adamantine/metalline and slashing, you will absorb 3 damage.

The only stacking DR that I know of is Favored Soul + Warforged and Whatever + Blocking DR.

And even then I'm not 100% sure about blocking DR as I've never built a class that invested anything into shield blocking as a tactic.

This too is correct. I have a warforged favored soul with standing dr/15 which goes up to 42 blocking with Levik's Defender with divine power: 10(capstone) + 3(enhancement) + 2(adamantine body) + 20(BAB)/2 + 2 + 15(levik's) = 42.

Blocking DR however only stacks with X/- DR, I noticed this on my cleric awhile ago while using bramble casters(10/Slashing or Bludgeoning) and shield blocking, I only got my "blocking DR" verses archers. And again when I had stoneskin, even though stoneskin lost points I was still only getting my blocking DR.

havent paid attention simply due to the fact by the time I got to 20, I was SO used to taking damage, I didnt care?

I TR my monk now so I couldnt tell you anything other than it seemd to work against 99% of the current content.
