.Net Framework Installation Error

Hello, I am currently trying to download the game on another computer so me and my friend can play together.
Everything worked well when I downloaded the game to my computer.

Downloading it to the other computer has been an issue.

We have gotten it downloaded, but whenever we try to open the game it reads the following:

"Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location."

This basically sounding like we have to take a file and move it somewhere else, but we tried searching for the file both manually and by the computer and we could not find it.

If anyone could help us that would be great!

I'd make sure .Net Framework 1.1 and its service pack are isntalled.

Open up "Uninstall a Program" (Vista/Win7) or "Add or Remove Programs" (XP) in the control panel and look for "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1" and "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 (Hotfix)” and if listed already uninstall both starting with "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1" and then the Hotfix (Which will give an error but should take itself out of the list) and reinstall or install them from the downloads here:
