View Full Version : Elite trap damage. Bug or not?

I've been one-shot by both blade and spike traps when running quests on elite difficulty on L4 and L5 quests. Getting hit for 400 is not fun when I only have 226 hit points. I've asked around and some people say there is a bug and have seen damage in the 1000's and others have said that elite traps are supposed to one shot people. So is it supposed to be this way or not?

Don't run stuff on elite w/o a trapsmith... problem solved.

Not all traps can be disabled. This bug is making quests like The Pit and Scoundrel's Run really not worth doing on Elite. Will be nice to get it fixed again.

agreed im really hating seeing trap smiths with improved evasion getting one shotted by traps can we see a fix pls:)

hehe 460 pts of damage in a lvl 4 quest, (it was elite, so lvl 6 scaled)

its not a bug, its a marketing trick. after 1 month of evil traps turbine will release rogue hirelings, available only in the store!

these new hireling rogues wont actually take up a party slot. they will also know where every trap is and wont critically fail! the higher level rogues will cost significantly more as the will be able to use UMD to raise the dead and cast heal.

VIP's can only buy one of these hirelings with their free points per week. if they want more they will have to buy turbine points.
