View Full Version : Adventure Packs - e.g. 3 barrel cove

I'm a new VIP member and these adventure packs (we call them 'modules' in PnP D&D) are supposed to be free. Once you become a VIP are they somehow incorporated into the game as quests or something? In the DDO store, it always tells me there are none available for my PC, yet I am of sufficient level to play at least one of them.

What's the deal there?

Yes, as VIP you have access to the entire game.

Every quest in the game is available once you are VIP, you just find the quest giver and go.

Once you are a VIP... you cannot buy 'Adventure Packs' in the DDO Store. All game content is free. You still have to grind favor for Drow, Favored Souls, Veteran Status (to start a character at lvl 4), and 32pt builds. Or, you can buy those too and they will be available across all servers (if you grind for them...then only available on the server you grinded it on).

There are only a few areas that are restricted by level, and last time I checked 3BC wasn't one of them. (lvl 3-8 explorer IIRC). If you still don't have access to it after going VIP contact Turbine, they will fix it for you.
