Quick question. Do weighted items add to the DC of a stunning fist as well as stunning blow?

Not at this time. There is talk that this will be changed at some future time.

how hard is it to add? I mean, they added it for stunning blow, cant they just do the same code for stunning fist? Both are pretty much the same kind of clickable attacks >.>

The dc's are worked out a little different, but i think its more of a balance issue, giving me +10 to my stunning fist would make it a 38 or so dc, and i havent particularly tried to go for a high dc on my moves, for something with a 6 second cooldown i can easily see balance issues cropping up.
If, and its an if, thats the case i dont see why just giving it the +5 to dc instead of 10 woudlnt work.
Also as we're seeing alot these days, changing or adding a piece of code 'here' breaks something over 'there' O.O so i guess they dont want to rush it.

Actually, they do, Weighted weapons are effecting both stunning fist and stunning blow, however as per the known issues (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=150534), The DC bonus to Stunning Fist and Stunning Blow is not being applied when using handwraps. It is added appropriately when using other weighted weapons.
Check it if you don't believe me, equip a weighted non-handwrap weapon and look at your Stunning Fist DC, it increases, you just can't stun :(

whoa whoa whoa...so your telling me it DOES currently add, but it doesnt?
Like...the weighted handwraps will say for example, your 30 DC is still 30, but weighted clubs will make it 36 or whatever its supposed to be?

Wow... that's some epic fail right there.
Fail because you broke it for the one weapon that can use it.
And fail because you can't use stunning fist with a weapon in your hand.
That's like double epic fail.

More or less. Its a handwrap bug, since the handwraps are failing to actually fully apply the weighted effect to your fists (the random stun is still working, just not the +DC). And since there are no 1 handed bludgeoning special monk weapons, you can't use stunning fist with any working weighted weapons (unless of course there's a weighted dream edge, in which case you could place said dream edge in your offhand and get the bonus to stunning fist DC, and use stunning fist, but not be able to get the stun% I believe.)

Yeah, but there's no reason you shouldn't be able to stun with a dream edge, or more accurately a quarterstave in your hands.
Just so much bugginess with handwraps. Dunno why they didn't just make handwraps a weapon instead of trying to make them some sort of weapon/nonweapon hybrid.

I imagine handwraps had to be implemented in a non-weapon form of some sort due to the fact that the damage changes as you gain more levels as a monk. This means that the handwrap has to be able to deal 1d3, 2d10, or anything in between depending on the level, class make-up, and state of the user (centered or not).
As for being able to stun with a dream edge, or a quaterstaff, the 3.5 rules do indeed allow a monk to make unarmed attacked while armed, so even though a stunning fist must be an unarmed attack, no where in the player's handbook does it say that you must be unarmed to perform a stunning fist. It's not like stunning fist couldn't do an animation override and use unarmed attack animations even with a kama or staff in hand, though I suppose getting it to use unarmed damage and ignore your equipped weapon might be a bit more difficult to program.
