What does 32pt build mean?

If I make a new toon run through korthos island quests, will I get more favor and more ddo points? Or once I get favor/ddo points for a quest, its locked out and I have to do another one I've never done before to get more store points.

IE Can I just keep rerolling and doing korthos island quest to get ddo points.

Lastly, do wilderness slayer/explore/rare encounter give favor?

I'm pretty new, too...okay, REALLY new...but I think I know the answer to these (and if I'm wrong, someone will correct me, anyway. ;)

When you create a (custom) character, normally you'll have 28 points to distribute throughout your stats (str, dex, int, etc). a 32 point build gives you 4 more points to distribute.

You can earn favor for each difficulty level you run the quest on. You won't get the favor if you run it twice on normal, but you will get the favor if you run it once on normal, once on hard, etc.

Technically, Elite (or whatever the highest level is) gives you the max amount of favor that quest will give out. Ever. If you run it on the lower levels, you will earn the balance between them all until you total up to what the Elite total favor is. Dunno if that made sense.

Lastly, do wilderness slayer/explore/rare encounter give favor?
I don't think so, at least the adventure compendium (in-game press P) doesn't so it does.

Correct on all counts!

As the above poster stated the 32 point build just gives a few extra points for stats at creation. Nice to have but not a mandatory thing.

You get favor once for each level of quest completed. Each level has a value assigned to it with longer quest giving a better base value. For example: Aquest gives you 3 favor after completing it on normal, then you run the quest on Hard which bring the favor to 6. This means you have only gained 3 more favor then you previously had. You do not get to add the 3 and the 6. You get the highest total.

These favor points add up to reach certain thresholds for gaining TP. Some people continue to reroll characters to get the low level TP threshholds since they are faster to meet and gain many TP's

The explorer rares and slayers do NOT give favor only XP

My 2nd question wasn't quite answered. I know that if I run it on elite, i get max favor. But, my question was I have a lvl 8 paladin, ive just rerun all the korthos quests on elite to get max favor and in turn some DDO points. However, if i re-roll a new toon and run the korthos quests, does the favor I earn for a character STILL get me more ddo points? Rather, are ddo points earned through favor able to be earned again by running the same quests on different characters.

For example, 50 favor = 25ddo points? Or something. So, if I run Quest1 that gives 50favor on elite on my paladin, i'll get 25ddo points. If I run quest1 again, but on a different toon who hasnt done it, on elite, will I get 25ddo points? Or since I already earned ddo points for that quest I wont get it again. I hope this clarifies my question a bit more.

Also, how do you get 32point build? Buy with points?

Yes you would get more favor and TP, look at my post. I mentioned that many people reroll over and over again to grind for these points.

32 point build can be bought with TP or earned through 1750 favor

Correct but one thing was not mentioned ... there are two different tp for favor rewards ... there is bench mark which is only gained once per server then there is the 25 tp for every 100 points of favor. So you have a lvl 8 char that has what ... about 550 favor? If you lvl up a second char on that server to 550 favor (or what ever your main is currently at) they will not get you as many tp as the first char did (just 25 for hitting 100, 25 for hitting 200 and so on). However if you go to a different server and roll a new char you will get the first time bonuses again along with the 100 favor marks.
