What great city has not a slum district.......? I cant think of one.

I propose a future mod focusing on the slums and poverty of Stormreach. Levels for this area will be 6 to 9.

The slum district is located on the outskirts of stormreach. Since they cant afford commodation in town and few travel to town for minimum wage jobs and begging.

Quests will be focused around gang , abduction, drug , gambling (with an actual working casino) , prostitution , collection etc.

Since 99% of the slum districk does not have any wealth, end rewards will be a choice of items from their belongings, worthless by gold standards. But craftable in an eldrich device (introducing new players to the system).

Since the deeds in these quests should be good based. The craftable items should make a holy property weapon for example.
If there are shady or evil (helping convicts or such) quests. Perhaps an evil or neutral item could be crafted.

I would like to see another residential feel area as I truely enjoyed the sharn syndicate series.

Feel free to use any of these ideas at Turbines choosing:)

Seeing as the slums are places most people avoid in the big city i would say Three Barrel Cove already qualifies. :D

Your toons are built to squash evil from Stormreach. Its about making a name for yourself. Besides who would pass up a little gambling at the casino.

Perhaps the Black Lock could become such since you mention the area

Or the other gambling games at the inn or the harbor?

Maybe I baited you for this one, because I knew someone would mention the the Phoenix tavern. LOL

Really now..............If thats what you call a casino or casino games. Then your not on the same page as I am.

Ha, while they may be 'technically' casino games, these are nothing compared to what Turbine could do.

On a side note, some credit card companies think that this game is casino/gaming, as a Customer Service Representative once pointed out:


To add to what Carat said, on rare occasions we have heard of issuers listing Turbine as "Casino/Gaming" instead of "Arcade/Gaming". This resulted in the transaction being blocked by the issuer. This is a rare problem, but something worth asking the issuer if you do give them a call.

And if these guys think this is a casino game...well...these guys are WAY off...If it was, id be seeing a lot more people playing blackjack at Korthos Isle and maybe Roulette too...
