So, love the new loot mechanic for mindsunder....

Heres what happened. I looted lots and lots of discs, so that I could run mindsunder a bunch and get some stupid gloves. So far so good.

Next I put up an lfm for Mindsunder. Im sure many of you saw it, I put something along the lines of My disc's my gloves, everything else is up fer grabs.

Filled and went in. I explained to everyone that I would use all my discs for the end chest, and that all I ask is that I get the first set of gloves, everything else would be up fer grabs. No prob responds the group.


First chest, someone loots the shield. Cool grats!

Second chest, nothing.

Third chest, someone gets the sword. Grats!

Fourth chest, nothing.

Fifth chest, nothing.

Sixth chest, nothing.

Seventh chest, nothing.


This continues for a bit, some peeps leaving, others joining etc. Each time a new person joined I explained what was happening. Nobody seemed to have a problem with it. Once we get to the 11th chest, my gloves dropped! I was stoked :D Right up till the person looted them! ARRRRGGGHHHHHhhhH!!!!111!!!!111!!11!11!1!one

I was a little upset to say the least, and let that person have a piece of my mind! He stated, my loot, my choice and dropped group!

So much for PUGs :eek: :eek:! :eek: :eek:

He is absolutely right Quick......but also...your group your choice and I have a feeling he is no longer welcome. 1 piece of loot to never group with a group (as Im sure you told some other QE peeps about him) of good players is a little steep.

PM the name, unfortunately you should have known to run with friends only for that.

Send me that name too quik, I will make sure BM members are warned, I will personally boot him from groups if he ever made it into one of ours.

Some people need to learn that if you dump on someone it will comeback to you, many of us vet players have friends in guilds we have no other ties to, wrong that person and you may end us with 2-3, maybe 4-6 guilds that will just not group with you anymore. And with the way the game is going losing the privilege to group with any good guilds is going to hurt your future in this game.

Was he guilded Quik, and did you speak to his guild leader at all? PM that to me too please.

Also, post a time and date and I would about bet that we could get a group to run the heck out of that thing. You don't even have to use your disks, we can toss disks to you and the shards to a sorc to teleport back to the market, combine and teleport back. Then run to ransack.

So you had at *least* 44 discs in your inventory?

When you ran those 44+ quests, did you explain to everyone how you'd be looting your shards & discs to do personal runs opposed to sticking to the end to run Mindsunder?

The only reason I ask is because I have been doing antipug runs where we share all the shards... run all 4 quests sharing shards you're guaranteed 2x runs @ mindsunder with change left over.

I'm suuuuure you realized this, but I wanted to throw it out there because I've had MUCH better luck doing this then with any pug.

P's and good luck on your gloves.. if you need a warm body to fill a spot, let me know, I already have mine so they are all yours if they are your discs.

...I am sorry you got caught like this bro but you might have had karma bite you in the ass with being just a little bit greedy setup right off the bat (albeit sorta warranted cause they were "your"disks). And as far as PUGs being horrible I will have to disagree again, in the last three days I have gotten the Gloves, Sword, Docent x2, Robe, the Staff, the Sickle and Kama, ALL from PUGS and in every run we all agreed to share and share alike. So maybe instead of thinking we are better than these Noobs we just LEAD them and the best will come out in all of us.

And as far as PUGs being horrible I will have to disagree again, in the last three days I have gotten the Gloves, Sword, Docent x2, Robe, the Staff, the Sickle and Kama, ALL from PUGS and in every run we all agreed to share and share alike. So maybe instead of thinking we are better than these Noobs we just LEAD them and the best will come out in all of us.

p.s. I have been extremely fortunate and now i just run these quests because they are fun and to help others get there loot, so when the maint is over lets get together and i PROMISE we will get you some gloves brother!

Hopefully more likely he had 4 tall stacks of shards and 4 preped discs for each run, since the shards stack and the discs do not. Maybe a couple of sets prepared. (The Shared bank slots are wonderful for items like this as well:D!).

No used bank slots and stackable shards to help with inv space, acquired while soloing late nights when nothing was going on that interested me using two accts.

If you join a party that has advertised "Leader Loot" in one fashion or another, you are giving up your rights to "your loot". If you don't like it, drop immediately.

I understand your point kehg and agree to an extent. But, if you join someone's group and you agree to a certain parameter that is set, stand by it. Thats all I would say. Also, I am with Kehg, if you need some gloves Quick, look me up, I'm in.
