Voice Chat problems

i got my voice chat working but there is a problem i can hear my own voice through my speakers and late like an echo so if i try to have a conversation my voice comes over the speakers while the other person is trying to talk...any ideas...

and check your windows settings for mic/line input/output sometimes that affects it.

Personally had this problem on my wife's comp about 8 months ago and the driver update fixed the issue.
