Ten Thousand Stars Q's

I was browsing the fighter forum and someone posted a halfling thrower build. I suggested that perhaps 6 levels of monk with Ten Thousand Stars would improve it, throwing shurikens at a greatly accelerated rate, but the question is how does it work? Is it like the thrown equivalent of Manyshot?

It is ki activated, on a timer, and speeds your rate of throwing up by like.... 10% or so? I have tried it twice and decided it sucks. That is all I know. It does not work like manyshot.

As currently implemented, 10,000 stars is very poor. It only provides a very slight speed bonus, and does not give you the ability to throw multiple stars or anything vaguely useful (like manyshot does). In addition the cooldown means you can't have it active for long.

Perhaps when the Ninja Spy prestige enhancement line arrives this will get a new rebirth as something useful, but until then I would recommend taking other enhancement lines.
