I want to start off by thanking you Turbine for giving us an epic level joke that makes all but a select few builds viable in the new endgame, it makes my playing experience so much more narrow and sterile. I no longer have to think out builds I just choose one of a very few cookie cutter builds either for max dps/hps, healing or buffbot and begin leveling. The blanket immunities, absurd hit points and damage reduction coupled with unrealistic to hit bonuses endowed to monsters make many aspects of the game now obsolete. To you people who have invested alot of time and contemplation in an AC build, generalist or odd multiclass build that was "fun" to play but not really min/maxed to the hilt I say grow up and reroll as a dps barbarian, cleric or warchanter and be done with it. I mean did you honestly think that your rogue monk multi class who was fairly good at traps and support skills and alot of fun to play would be useful in the new endgame? Nope and it's your fault for not being a metagamer in the first place.

I really enjoy the responses to alot of attempts to join raids and other high end content that amount to "sorry your build is a little odd and we only want xxxxx in our party", "sorry we dont need more than one spell caster in a 12 man raid because all they do is buff, do you have a pure healer you can play?" or the ever popular "AC is worthless we only want dps.". The game is trending towards thwarting the min/max power gamer and disregarding the enjoyment of the vast majority of your gaming population. This game was enjoyable because it had so much variety and alot of different builds could be useful contributing members of a party. This is no longer the case and the drain on resources or the lack of a very narrow set of skills that the now useless builds bring to a party makes anything but the "perfect group" pointless, expensive and frustrating.

I would encourage Turbine at this point not to rethink their position on this matter and just keep adding hps and immunities to monsters rather than finding a new and original way of adding challenge to the game that still enables all the different builds participate and enjoy the endgame content. We don't need creativity, originality and most importantly fun in a game, it is pointless and just confuses and angers me. I want all of my experiences in game to force me to play 1 or 2 specific styles of character and leave me with free time to contemplate my naval and it's ability to collect lint while slashing away at the same crittier for 30 minute stretches.

I encourage everyone to join me by /sign in this thread to show Turbine they are moving in the right direction here.

Thank you for your time and best wishes
