Dwarven Ranger 6 / Bard 14

I was thinking about doing a 2WF bard, and since I can dump dex with ranger's feats, I thought that might be a better option than going straight bard. However, I'd be loosing a lot of buffs.

I've noticed people really like halfling bards and straight bards, will a dwarven multi-class be gimped?

Starting stats:
Str 16
Dex 10
Con 16
Int 8
Wis 12
Chr 14

I'd start with bard 1, then ranger, then back to bard for the rest of the way.

Well, if you were to want 6Rng/14Brd I would first decide what you are more interested in. Assuming that you will be taking ranger for combat ability, I would start with bard, then run 6 ranger and follow that with the rest bard. The reason being that you will want your TWF or archery feats to help you level.
