Still trying to find a true answer to this. I know that getting the 2 levels of monk for feats and evasion. But does a paly with this this build really need a high wisdom? If so, what should the starting WIS be? Here's what I've come across so far.
18 pally/2 monk
15 str
15 dex
12 con
11 int
10 wis
16 cha
all level up points into str
+2 int and dex tome gets you combat expertise and 2wf line.
dont worry about wis, the monk levels are for feats and evasion, not AC.
monk feats can get you your combat expertise and a toughness.
16 cha with +2 tome gets you divine might 3, and hope for divine might 4 with a +4 tome.
wear light armor and still achieve great ac endgame (60ish self wih TWF and can grab a shield if youre overwhelmed by the hate tanking)
And then here's another suggestion from Assio:
The 2 monk levels give
-added "wisdom bonus" to armor class
-2 extra feats
-evasion
The 18 pali levels give
-full palidan smites enhancements
-level 3 palidan KoTC prestige class
-full aura potential
-level 4 spells
----------------------
Starting stats:
----------------------
Str 14 +2 tome +6 item = 22
Dex 16 +2 tome +6 item +2 Elf +4 Stat +2 Exceptional = 32
Con 10 +2 tome + 6 item +2 Exceptional= 20
Int 10 (+3 tome =13 for combat Expertise)
Wis 14 +2 tome +6 item = 22
Cha 16 +2 tome +2 Paladin +6 item +1 Stat +1 Exceptional = 28
Str 22: Useful enough to incite damage
Dex 32: with a base dex of 16, you take +1 tome for itwf/gtwf, Max dex gives great AC
Con 20: good enough to give you 400+HP with endgame gear
Int 10: base gives you the option to eat a +3 int tome later and get combat expertise
Wis 22: Cast level 4 Palidan spells, extra monk ac, extra SP
Cha 28: Increased Smite/loh/saves
----------------------
**Level 4, 8, 12, 16 Stat point into Dex
**Level 20 Stat point into Cha
Which to me, both look fine, but one says WIS is not that important, whereas the other thinks it is. So the question is... Is starting a high WIS important to this build?
